A Writer’s Christmas Wish List
1. An extra 25th hour each day that only becomes available if it’s used for writing
2. A magic mind-eraser that automatically wipes away all “have-to’s” and “should’s” that are unrelated to writing
3. Some of Christy’s amazing organizational ability (or at least a visit from an organization fairy to help make space on my desk)
4. A glimmer of hope from an editor or an agent
5. A stocking full of clever ideas to make my latest WIP unique and compelling
6. A special pill to combat the physical effects of BIC [butt-in-chair]
What’s on your wish list?

What a great list! Love it.
For me: I’d really like a sparkly pen that brings sparkly words into my stories. And in my stocking, a brilliant agent who loves my work.
How about I go into work and they send me home to write for my holiday bonus? “Just take a day to work on your writing, we’ll pay you anyway.”
I’ll take one of each of the above, and a magic bridge to connect my story beginning to my story ending!
I love your wish list, Andrea.
I also love your wish list.
It wasn’t on your list, but you won my book giveaway!
Sarah, I love the magic bridge idea! I could use one of those.
Angela, that’s so exciting! Thank you! I guess books are so essential to my life that I think of them as a basic staple, rather than something to wish for!
